Nick Gordon was arrested on domestic violence charges over the weekend after he called the cops accusing his girlfriend of being abusive.

According to reports, Gordon’s girlfriend, Laura Leal, had a visible injury that included a swollen bottom lip with dried blood when police arrived to her Florida residence. The woman told police that she picked up Gordon from a bar in Sanford and while she was driving he “struck her in the right side of her cheek several times,” and also pulled her hair and told her that “he should make her wreck the vehicle.” The pair continued to argue when they returned to his home.

This isn’t Gordons first run around with domestic violence charges. In fact a judge found Gordon ‘legally responsible’ for Bobbi Kristina’s death in a $50 million civil lawsuit filed by her conservator. The suit alleged that the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown ‘died due to a violent altercation with Gordon after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture.’

Bobby Brown wants to help his girlfriend Laura Leal through the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House.

“Domestic violence killed my daughter, and on March 4, 2018, the Bobbi Kristina Brown Serenity House held our first event to strike back at domestic violence,” Bobby Brown Stated. “I personally would like to extend my hand to Ms. Leal and offer her services through our organization.

Brown went on to say that he doesn’t want Leal to suffer like his daughter suffered. “I do not want to see any more families destroyed at the hands of domestic violence and I do not want any more women to suffer like my daughter did. We are here to assist and we hope to hear from Ms. Leal,” he said.

The Bobbi Kristina Brown Serenity House is a not-for-profit organization designed to assist women who have been victims of domestic violence.

Bobbi Kristina was sadly found face down in a bathtub January 2015. She was 22 years old. Gordon was ordered to pay her family $36 million in her wrongful death lawsuit.

I commend Bobby Brown on his efforts in helping those affected by Domestic Violence.
