    Tiffany Haddish, Ron Cephas Jones, Samira Wiley, and Katt Williams swept the guest star Emmys over the weekend in a historical win for black actors.

    It is the first time all four guest star statues were awarded to black actors.

    Comedian Tiffany Haddish won “best guest actress in a comedy” for hosting Saturday Night Live which made history over the weekend by becoming the first black female standup comic to host that show in its 43 seasons.

    And the “Girls Trip” star earned raved reviews, with critics and celebrity peers alike touting her performance as one of the best.

    Katt Williams won an Emmy for “best guest actor in a comedy” for Atlanta.

    Ron Cephas Jones won in the best guest actor in a drama series category for his role as William Hill on NBC’s This Is Us.

    Samira Wiley’s second nomination turned into her first Emmy win as Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series ‘The Handmaids Tale’.
