VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’ will no longer feature Hazel E.

According to our sources Hazel E was told from producers that her contract will not be picked up for the 5th season of the show. Many speculate that Hazel E lost her contract due to gay bashing statements she put on social media. A man posted videos accusing Rose Burgundy, Hazels boyfriend, of being in a relationship with him. Rose retaliated by posting a burning LGBT flag on instagram. Underneath the picture he went on gay bashing saying that “I hope all gays die and go to hell”. Hazel E replied under his post “Burn in hell just like God said in the bible”. The couples posts set off a chain of anger amongst spectators who took offense to the post.

Hazel E later apologized to fans about her backlash and said she said it out of anger. Fans and and spectators alike feel the apology was not sincere. Hazel E is no stranger to saying hateful and hurtful things on the internet. A few weeks back Hazel and Jess Hilarious had online beef where Hazel said on social media that “*Bleeps* mad cuz they couldn’t pass the brown paper bag test”. Now this.

Executive producer of ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Mona Scott-Young said in an apparent response to Hazels rants, “For the avoidance of further speculation, I do not support hate in any form towards anyone”.

Hazels rants were very offensive to a lot of people. They showed disrespect for women of color and people of the LGBT community. It was said that Mona Scott-Young was absolutely disgusted by what she read and recommended to the network and the other production company to have Hazel E removed from the show.
