(GEMS RADIO)—Jam Master Jay’s final murder suspect has been charged.

According to The New York Times, federal prosecutors indicted 49-year-old Jay Bryant from Queens on Tuesday (May 30), charging him with murder while engaged in narcotics trafficking and other drug-trafficking offenses.

César de Castro, a lawyer for Bryant, said the following: “Securing an indictment in a secret grand jury, applying an extremely low burden of proof, is one thing,” de Castro said. “Proving it at trial is another matter.”

The two other men are Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington. They were formally charged in 2020. The investigation came up with it was a drug deal gone wrong. Jay acquired about 10 kilograms of cocaine before he was shot in the head.
