(GEMS RADIO)- The 2023 Rodeo Uncorked! 50 Cent’s Le Chemin du Roi champagne made six figures at an international wine competition in Houston. After competing against over 3,000 other entries, the champagne won the Grand Champion Best of Show prize at the event on Sunday.
According to Chron, the bottle was put up for auction after the contest with real estate developer J. Alan Kent Development placed the winning bid of $325,000. In addition to breaking bread, 50 Cent spent a cool $165,000 on a bottle of Antiquity Chardonnay Reserve from Bernhardt Vineyards.
Using an image of an article on the Le Chemin du Roi sale, 50 said on Instagram, “You think you know money until you make it to the Rodeo in Houston.” You need a genuine bag to play over here, lol. I paid $165,000 for the lot 2 Reserve champion.
When he’s not securing a monopoly in the wine and alcohol industry, 50 Cent has expanded his TV and movie empire. Fif has just revealed that he has cast 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo in the third season of his hit STARZ series BMF.
Big-name celebrities, including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mo’nique, Kash Doll, Yung Miami, and Serayah, have already appeared on the show. Ne-Yo and 2 Chainz have the acting experience listed on their lengthy résumés. Most recently, he co-starred with Antonio Banderas in the action movie The Enforcer from 2022. About Ne-Yo, the “So Sick” singer has appeared in several films, including Red Tails, Stomp the Yard, and others.
While announcing the renewal on Instagram, 50 Cent also disclosed that there would be additional BMF spin-offs. The G-Unit mogul claims that three distinct series are in the works.
He wrote, “MF is on fire season 3 here we go.” Spin-offs are coming, and I don’t want to miss BMF IMMORTALS 1, 2, and 3.
