(GEMS RADIO)—BLACKPINK, the K-pop all female answer to BTS, have released their new single “Pink Venom“.

This is the lead single to Born Pink, the female quartet’s sophomore album, which will be arriving September 16. The group is set to perform at this year’s 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28 at 8 PM.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa make up the foursome. “Since it’s our comeback after a long time … we wanted to express our identity. So we put together words ‘Pink’ and ‘Venom’, two contradictory words that will well remind you of us,” Jennie said at a media event.

The video is the most expensive video their management agency, YG entertainment, has ever made.
