(GEMS RADIO)—Dave Grohl, frontman of the Foo Fighters, says it’s harder for younger bands to succeed in today’s music industry.

Grohl says Billie Eilish has started a new revolution. “There’s a lot of great young bands that are f****** killing it and have devoted fan bases. They might not be as popular as Nicki Minaj, but honestly, when I see f****** Billie Eilish, that’s rock’n’roll to me. She started a revolution and took over the world.”

He is also a big fan of the British female fronted duo Wet Leg and says they “will take over America”.

Grohl’s new book The Storyteller has hit shelves in October of last year and documents his life as the drummer of Nirvana to the days as lead singer with the Foo Fighters. It details his life growing up in rural Virginia to his days to stardom.
