Drake Hits New Status Due to Latest Project

(GEMS RADIO)—Drake has hit a new milestone. The rapper has hit a streaming record on Spotify. His latest song “Search and Rescue” has now surpassed over 100 million streams.

According to Chart Data, Drake has now become the first artist in the streaming platform’s history to surpass 80 billion streams. Drake was the most streamed artist in 2021 with a mega total of 8.6 Billion streams.

Her Loss, his album with 21 Savage, moved over 404,000 album-equivalent units in its first week besides the fact that it landed at number one on the Billboard 200.

“[Her Loss] is one of the greatest albums I ever made in my life,” he told Sirius XM. “I said the other day, I think this is a clear entry into my Top 5 of my catalog — if not, Top 3.”
