Jam Master Jay’s Trial Comes To A Close

(GEMS RADIO)—Jam Master Jay’s Murder trial has officially drawn to a close. Both defendants were found guilty on all charges of killing the rapper at gunpoint.

“Today, a federal jury in Brooklyn returned a guilty verdict against Karl Jordan, Jr., and Ronald Washington for the October 30, 2002, murder of Jason Mizell, also known as ‘Jam Master Jay,’ a member of the famed hip hop group Run-DMC,” read a statement from the Eastern District of New York on Tuesday. “When sentenced, Jordan and Washington face a minimum of 20 years’ imprisonment and a maximum term of life imprisonment.”

Both defendants will have the option to appeal the case, but it is not certain if they will follow through.
