Jewell Caples of Death Row Records Passes Away

(GEMS RADIO)—Jewell Caples, the first lady of Death Row Records, has passed away.

Singer, Jewell Caples, known for repping infamous record label, Death Row Records, in the 90s, passed away at age 53. She was known for teaming up with the legendary Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg and the late great Tupac on his song “Thug Passion”.

Timothy Beal, her manager, made this statement yesterday: “Jewell was a very special woman with a big heart. She had been a guest at my wedding back on February 12th of this year,” reads the statement. “We shared many many spiritual conversations. She had transformed her life from hardcore gangsta rap to faith-based gospel singer and songwriter.”

They were working on her big comeback this year. “We have been working diligently on her comeback, we wish we could have seen her make her big comeback,” he stated. “I will personally miss her a great deal,” he concluded.
