(GEMS RADIO)—Lance ‘Un’ Rivera is finally coming clean. JAY-Z was not responsible for stabbing Lance ‘Un’ Rivera in 1999, according to the music executive.

Rivera signed Notorious B.I.G. among others in the 90s. He now opens up about that fateful night that made headlines in 1999 with Vlad TV.

JAY was accused of stabbing Lance in a nightclub in December of 99. The incident was in regards to Lance’s leaking of Jay’s album The Life and Times Of Shawn Carter before it’s actual release date.

According to Hip Hop DX: After initially pleading not guilty and denying any wrongdoing, JAY-Z later pleaded guilty to third-degree assault in October 2001 and was sentenced to three years’ probation.

“I don’t know where people got JAY-Z stabbed me from because if anybody knows JAY-Z, JAY-Z’s a nice guy,” Un said. “He’s an artist, he’s a poet, he’s gifted and it’s never been his history. If JAY-Z had stabbed me, y’all wouldn’t have got The Black Album because through my whole history, I’m an eye-for-an-eye type of guy,” said Mr. Rivera.
