Raekwon Preps New Material

(GEMS RADIO)—-Wu-Tang’s Raekwon is prepping another masterpiece. The veteran rapper will have a plethora of guest features on his new album entitled The Emperor’s New Clothes, out July 18. Guests include some Wu-Tang members, Nas, and Buffalo New York’s Conway the Machine and Westside Gunn. The album will be out via Mass Appeal Records. You can expect another Wu album when they aren’t as busy with other side projects.

(GEMS RADIO)---Even though Childish Gambino said he was retiring his stage name, he is back with a new song with same moniker. The new song premiered on Gilga Radio (Donald Glover's aka Childish Gambino's radio station concept and creation) with mixed reactions from his fans. The tune features singer Ravyn Lenae. The song itself is a slow jam with a strum of light guitar.

Cam’ron to Release His Memoir

(GEMS RADIO)—-Cam’ron is ready to release his memoir via Simon & Schuster. The deal he made is worth $750,000. The memoir will cover his rise as a rapper and his recent talk shows. In a statement, Cam said: “I’m happy to have this deal done. Hopefully the book will be released February of 2026 and that everyone can take something from my memoir when they read it.”

For 22 weeks now, since its debut back in November, his GNX album has been hangin tight on the Billboard Rap chart. He and SZA can also celebrate for the highest grossing joint tour of all time as well. Kudos to Kendrick as he continues to break records.
