(GEMS RADIO)—Rock The Bells is back. The music festival will return to Queens this summer. LL Cool J plans on bringing back the festival in full force with many iconic pioneers of the hip hop genre to help celebrate hip hop’s 50th anniversary.

“I wanted to tell you personally [that on] Saturday, August 5th, Rock The Bells Festival is back,” he said in an Instagram video.

LL says to get your tickets early as there will be many iconic performances. “Getting to bring some of the most iconic and influential Hip-Hop artists to the same stage, in my hometown and the city that started it all, is an honor and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store for them.”

The concert will be held at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. Ticketing information can be found here.
