(GEMS RADIO)-When Aminé and KAYTRANADA release their collaborative project KAYTRAMINÉ later this month, other artists like Snoop Dogg, Freddie Gibbs, and Big Sean will also be included.

Aminé & Kaytranada’s ‘Kaytraminé’ Album And Its Features

Aminé revealed the colorful album artwork, the tracklist, and a May 19 launch date on his Instagram page on Tuesday, May 9, exactly a month after unveiling the project.

Pharrell and Ghanaian singer Amaarae will also appear on the album’s 11 tracks along with the previously mentioned artists.

Aminé will release KAYTRAMINÉ, his first studio album since TWOPOINTFIVE in 2021, and BUBBA, his most recent release.

KAYTRANADA’s Collaborations

Collaborations are nothing new for KAYTRANADA, the renowned Haitian-Canadian producer who has previously worked with artists like Robert Glasper, The Celestics, and IDK in 2022.

The Portland native and Kay have been together for approximately ten years; they first met when Aminé remade the dance music hero’s “Not At All” in 2014, and they later met for “La Danse” in 2015.

The 2018 KAYTRANADA production “Egyptian Luvr” featured the rapper from “Caroline” and Rejjie Snow.

Aminé Interest To Work With Renowned Artists

Aminé spoke candidly about his need for professional guidance from a few of the greatest artists hip-hop has to offer in an interview.

To be completely honest with you, he continued, “I don’t have a lot of artists I look to for assistance. I wish I had. I wish I had J. Cole or Drake to tell me what to do, but I’m not close to any of them. We have met, and there is nice chemistry between us, but I’m not affiliated with any artist or organization, and nobody has taken me under their wing.

It would be a fantasy, he continued. Kanye West saying, “Yeah, man,” would be sick. “What’s up?” I want to get to know Jay-Z.
