Tory Lanez Ready to Face Trial for Megan Thee Stallion Shooting

(GEMS RADIO)—Tory Lanez trial is set to begin on Monday. He faces charges for possibly shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion in Hollywood Hills, California two years ago. Lanez is a popular rapper whose real name is Daystar Peterson.

The two had an altercation while riding in an SUV when she hurt her foot back in July of 2020. She sought medical attention following the incident. Lanez pleaded not guilty to charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. If convicted he could spend 22 years and eight months behind bars.

Megan Thee Stallion stated on social media Lanez was in fact guilty.
