Travis Scott Releases a New Album “Utopia” on Friday

At last, Travis Scott released his fourth album titled Utopia under Cactus Jack and Epic Records on Friday (July 28).

The last time he dropped a studio album was five years ago (1800). Its name was Atroworld and it hit number one on the Billboard 200. The album also had a single “Sicko Mode” that was number one on the Billboard Hot 100. He featured Drake in the single. It was not just his first song to be no. 1 on the Billboard 100 chart, two years later, RIAA diamond certified it.

Travis Scott Dropped a Single First

Before releasing Utopia, he dropped a single “K-POP” which featured Bad Bunny and The Weekend. Initially, Scott was supposed to perform the new album in Egypt at the Pyramids of Giza on Friday, but the event was cancelled because of difficult production problems, according to an announcement by Live Nation Middle East.

Scott will drop his LP and his film Circus Maximus simultaneously. He directed and wrote it, then A24 produced it. AMC reported that the film will “take his audience on a mind-bending visual odyssey across the globe, woven together by the speaker rattling sounds of his highly anticipated upcoming album Utopia,” The film will be viewed at specific AMC theatres for four days which are July 27th, 30th and Aug 1st and 2nd.

The rapper shared the images of the five album covers one after another on his Instagram account before Friday. Kristina Nagel and Pieter Hugo took the photos for the covers.


Meanwhile, Latto showed the world her impressive acting skills when she made an appearance in the newest Grownish episode. ABC shared the scene in the program’s Instagram account. The musician plays the role of Sloane who is a representative for a wine company. She supplies Diggy Simmon’s lounge with tasty wine. Doug plays the Diggy Simmon character.

“Hey Sloane, my favorite wine rep,” Diggy says to Sloane as she walks in carrying a bag full of wine. “I was about to get rid of all my wine so I could see you again.”

“Sounds like I win either way,” she answers and proceeds to recommend the wine that goes well with Jalapeño poppers. She eventually admits: “I’m down to try anything once.”
