(GEMS RADIO)- Tyga was being trolled online for sharing an excerpt of his latest song which is remake of the old hip hop song “Ice Ice Baby.” He shared the snippet for the first time on the 14th June, Wednesday of this week. He revealed that the snippet is drawn from a new song that he is about to release. He said that he collaborated with Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj in making that song.
Ice Ice Baby Song Remake
Most of his followers noticed that the track is a remake of “Ice Ice Baby” a song that was recorded in 1990. The 90s song was also a remake of another song called “Under Pressure” which was released in 1981 and it was sung by David Bowie.
The audio received a lot of criticism online. Most of his fans described it as terrible. One of the fans commented on the video saying “Get that shit outta here”. His fans were more positive and hopeful about the forthcoming project where he has featured Travis Barker and Blink-182 drummer.
Tyga and YG working on an EP
On Monday the 12th of June 2023, reports said that Tyga has been spotted entering Calabasas studio many times recently. The two are believed to be working on an EP that they intend to release in the near future. Tyga will also be releasing a project where he has featured YG. The two disclosed this in March during Rolling Loud Los Angeles.
The pair also dropped a hit together in 2019 called “Go Loko”. He announced about the forthcoming production just before the pair. Tyga said “so it’s crazy because last year, or like a year or two ago, we was working on the album, but the shit was going so crazy that we only came up with one song.” YG agreed with him.
