Usher Extends Las Vegas Residency

(GEMS RADIO)—Usher has extended his Las Vegas residency thanks to JAY-Z. The rapper has been in charge of Super Bowl performances part of a deal with the NFL and Roc Nation. The OMG! singer said this in an interview on CBS Mornings: “There’s nobody else who could play – hello? I’m here. Yes, [I extended my residency.] But by the way, I knew. I was like, ‘You know what? If I just stay here, it’s gonna happen.’ I believed it.”

Usher performed a medley of his hits including “Confessions”, “My Boo”, and “Caught Up” all in what was the longest Superbowl Halftime show ever, clocking in at 13 minutes.
