Rocky will review his album titled “Don’t Be Dump” at the upcoming Miami Festival. A$AP Rocky has not dropped an album for the last five years. He released Testing in 2015 and it did not perform as well as the earlier two albums. It was number 4 on the billboard 200 but the others had topped the chart at number one.

Moreover, he has dropped several singles in the last five years but only two made it to the chart which are “Doja” at number 87 and “Babuska Boi” at number #69. Nevertheless, he did a collaboration with Roisee and Metro Booming “Am I Dreaming” which it outperformed his two singles by hitting number 57.

A$AP Rocky is One of the Most Popular Artists

Rocky is one of the biggest hip hop artists in the industry today with many loyal fans. He can easily sell tickets, fill a venue and be paid handsomely during key events. This explains why he has been accorded the privilege of closing the Miami’s event “Rolling Loud.”  He has been allocated more time than Bryson Tiller, who will also be performing at the end of the concert.

There are several flyers that have been plastered in the festival area. The information in the flyers says that, the attendees will do a taste test of A$AP Rocky’s album. A$AP has only released two singles from this album “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n) and “Same Problems” though they did not perform well and didn’t get a place on a US chart. Based on the information provided in the flyers, A$AP Rocky will perform some of the songs in the album. One of the flyers has this message “Come Taste Test My New Album.

Fans are Conflicted about the Timing of the Album Release

Some fan online is suggesting that he should be patient and wait for Carti, Drake and Travis to finish promoting the albums and doing tours to avoid getting few sales and low publicity like it happened with Testing. However, other people are happy that Rocky is releasing an album this year.
