(GEMS RADIO)- In a message shared on Instagram on Sunday, Chris Brown downplayed the gravity of an altercation at the Lovers & Friends Festival. The declaration was made in reaction to a video showing Brown getting into a furious argument backstage. He did not mention the alleged altercation with Usher at his birthday celebration last week, though.
“Yall has been geeked all weekend, y’all lugging it now,” wrote Chris Brown. Security attempted to get everybody off the stage because there were irate people backstage. People began to push back. To let them know that my child was back there, I acted. So that you can maintain your story. According to reports, the incident happened on Saturday night during Missy Elliott’s performance.
On Saturday, May 6, a spectator caught the altercation backstage at the Las Vegas, Nevada Festival. The “Run It” singer repeatedly gets in the faces of multiple guys who look to be security during the altercation, which apparently occurred during Missy Elliott’s festival performance. His crew is seen attempting to restrain him from worsening the matter further.
Chris Brown continually shouts, “I got it!” and tries to push the other men, but to no success. Brown is clearly enraged.
Chris Brown has a record of using violence towards both men and women, including Rihanna, Karrueche Tran, who obtained a restraining order against him, and lately, Usher. This violent brawl is only the most recent incident involving the musician.
Usher and Brown hit Twitter’s trending topics after news of the alleged assault broke on Saturday. And while the specifics of the alleged attack were initially hazy, it was eventually revealed that there was a fight between the two musicians.
