(GEMS RADIO)- Chris Brown became the subject of a discrimination controversy over the weekend after several Black British ladies complained on social media that they were turned away from his VIP area at a London club.

The musician was on his European Tour promoting his 2022 album Breezy when he stopped in the nation’s capital of London.

One of the women who claims Chris Brown refused to let them in said in a video, “We were supposed to go see Chris Brown.”When we arrived, tens of thousands of girls were waiting in line. Additionally, they said they were invited as VIPs. They informed us, ‘No Black girls allowed,’ one of the woman’s pals said, adding, ‘You’re carefully selecting these white women.’

Chris Brown Defends Himself

Social media users began criticizing the “Iffy” hitmaker when the video went viral. Chris Brown, however, refuted the claims and provided a statement on his Instagram Story.

He wrote “STOP IT” over a picture of himself with many Black women in a VIP area. “Black queens surround me. THOP REACHING,” he wrote.

He Was Not At Fault

But, a woman from the original video confirmed what she had said after Chris Brown addressed the allegation. She maintained Breezy was not at fault and placed the responsibility on the club’s proprietors and promoters.

She said, “The video had completely no connection to Chris Brown. We were heading to a club he was hosting, so this was the sole reason his name was mentioned.

Then, Breezy shared the clip again on Twitter with the caption, “CRAZY that I need receipts. Love triumphs over hatred in this place!
