(GEMS RADIO)—-De La Soul’s music is finally coming to a streaming outlet near you this year. The trio’s entire catalogue will soon be available on streaming platforms in 2023.
The rap vets made the announcement on Tuesday on their social media pages. Following a long legal battle, 3 Feet High and Rising, De La Soul Is Dead, Buhloone Mindstate, Stakes Is High, Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump and AOI: Bionix — will debut on streaming platforms on March 3. “We can’t believe this day is finally here, and we are excited to be able to share our music with fans, old and new,” the trio said in a statement.
The rap trio had trouble with clearance issues for years with their former label, Tommy Boy Records. Reservoir Media acquired its discography as part of its $100 million acquisition of Tommy Boy in 2021. Reservoir Media will distribute De La Soul’s catalog via Chrysalis Records.
