Dr. Dre Donates and Helps To Open New Compton High School

(GEMS RADIO)—-Dr. Dre has helped to open the new state of the art high school in Compton. It will offer a recording studio and a performing arts center among other things.

Dre says: “This is the type of building I would’ve loved to go to when I was growing up,” he said. “Unfortunately, it wasn’t here, but it’s here now.”

The veteran rapper ands business mogul went on to say that Compton is a breeding ground for new talent.

The school will open for students in the fall.
