(GEMS RADIO)—Megan Thee Stallion scored a small victory against her former record label. 1501 Certified Entertainment declared that Stallion’s Something For Thee Hotties was not a an official album under her old contract. The record label was apparently blocking her to release new music back in 2020, according to the rapper.

Megan says 300 Entertainment bought the exclusive distribution rights for her albums in 2018. If the rapper finds success she will have fulfilled her deal and be granted her  release from the label.

Following the judge’s ruling, Megan Thee Stallion’s  lawsuit against 1501 will now proceed to trial.
