Robert E Crimo III, the suspect behind the heinous Highland Park shooting incident on the 4th of July has been arrested by the police. The failed rapper made his debut in the hip hop scene when he released the single “In My Honda”.

In his Lyrics, the phrase “I just want to scream / F*ck this world / Livin’ the dream,” seems to be coming from a dark and sinister place and it explains why he killed innocent people.

Robert E Crimo III on the Run

According to the Illinois Authorities, the rapper opened fire on a parade that was commemorating the 4th of July day on Central Avenue of Highland Park IL. This is a restive community 25 miles north of Chicago.

The incident took place at 10 a.m. and the rapper was on the run for a better part of the day. Luckily, a Chicago officer flagged him down in traffic which he refused to comply to. After a brief chase, Bobbie surrendered and he was put taken into custody in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Police commander Chris O’Neill affirmed that the murder weapon has been recovered hidden on a rooftop of a business premise near the scene of the shooting. Christopher Covelli, a spokesperson for the Lake County Major Crime Task Force said that the weapon is a high-powered rifle and so far the motive is not known.

Bureau of Alcohol

Meanwhile, Kim Nerheim, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives spokesperson said that the agency is reviewing the purchase and ownership history of the gun to assist in investigations.

Crime rates in the US are hitting new highs with incidents such as the shooting of Chaka Zulu making headlines. However, in most cases, rappers are the voices that call for sanity and order restoration.

Besides Bobbie, another rapper who has been on the wrong side of the law is Isaiah Lee. The ‘struggling rapper’ attacked Dave Chapelle on stage at the Hollywood Bowl in LA.
