(Gems Radio)—Rapper Royce Da 5’9 does not want to participate in the Best MC debate on Twitter.
Things got heated up when Twitter was debating whether Blackthought from The Roots or Royce Da 5’9 had better bars.
Both rappers have been in the business for over 20 years. The latter didn’t want anything to do with the debate. “Please don’t do this,” Royce wrote on Twitter.
Clearly Royce did not want any beef with Black Thought, but he did start with Lil Zan at the end of last year. He called the emerging rapper Hip Hop’s “First Karen”. Zan called out Royce’s former manager, Stat Quo, for prescribing him pills, when he was trying to fight off his addiction. Royce did not like that, and thought mentioning it at all was being disloyal.
