(GEMS RADIO)- in a recent interview with Metro UK, Saweetie stated the only fantasy collaboration that she has in mind features Rihanna and a dance-inspired single. In addition, Saweetie talked about the circumstances why her new album, Pretty Bitch Music, was delayed, the recording experience, her desire in playing a DC character, and other topics.
Saweetie Says She Would Like To Work With Rihanna
She was asked who she’d love working with during the interview, and she immediately mentioned the hitmaker with Barbadian roots.
She began by saying, “I certainly want to work with Rihanna,” before referencing the singer’s most recent Super Bowl LVII halftime show as justification. That was the Rihanna performance, not even a game, during the Super Bowl.
Saweetie Disclosed Why She Postponed Her Album
Saweetie has previously disclosed the postponement of her new album. The Bay Area hitmaker explained to the host of E! News that her album had been delayed for a variety of causes, as well as her zodiac sign.
The rapper is nevertheless optimistic that the project will reach the public “before the end of this year.”

Her Album’s Inspiration
When asked where she got her ideas for the album, Saweetie responded that she wanted to draw on her “background as a West Coast gal.”
She stated, “I’m tri-racial, my mother is Asian, my father is Black, and I’ve gone through a lot of different experiences. I grew up in the Bay, I went to San Diego State, and I went to USC. I want to incorporate all of that into my album in the most natural and artistic way possible.
