(GEM RADIO)- While excited to participate in the upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance, Rihanna also admitted to being understandably anxious. She talked all about it with TMZ.

When The National Football League revealed the information last month, fans of the Bajan singer were thrilled. Rihanna hasn’t revealed anything about the show and has kept quiet about it. But on Monday, TMZ caught up with her as she was doing her grocery shopping in Los Angeles. Rihanna acknowledged she is “nervous” yet “excited” to perform when asked how she feels about the occasion.

Dr.Dre Revealed he was Nervous too

Dr. Dre, who was nervous to rock the stage at the 2022 Halftime Show, has something in common with Rihanna. While playing at the event with Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and surprise guests 50 Cent and Anderson, he said, “I don’t know if I’ve ever been that terrified before.

Dr. Dre anticipates Rihanna to put on a spectacular performance. She has the potential to completely wow us, he said. “I know we set the bar very high,” she said. In addition, he advised the nine-time Grammy Award winner to surround herself with “the appropriate creative individuals” before the event. Finally, he concluded, “have fun.”

Jay-Z’s Comment about Rihanna

Jay-Z, Rihanna’s longtime mentor, expressed his pleasure in her development following the news last week.

“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” said Jay Z in a press statement.

While Rihanna hasn’t mentioned the additional performers who will perform with her at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, some believe her “Run This Town” co-star Kanye West may have given away their identity. Ye shared a Daily Mail article that implied he was being considered as a guest performer on Instagram.
