(GEMS RADIO)—Kendrick Lamar has good cause to celebrate. His album good kid, m.A.A.d. city is turning ten. The album that features “Swimming Pools (Drank)” achieved Diamond status back in 2011. Now the 10th anniversary of the album is rapidly approaching. Eminem called good kid, m.A.A.d city a “masterpiece” in 2016. “When I first heard Kendrick’s debut on Aftermath, I couldn’t believe it.”
The 10th anniversary edition of good kid, m.A.A.d. city includes an alternate cover, black vinyl coating, and will remain to be seen if it will contain any bonus tracks.
Lamar released his fifth and final album with Top Dawg Entertainment this past May. Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers has moved over 500,000 units.
