(GEMS RADIO)—Beyoncé scored her first Oscar nomination this past Tuesday.

The Sasha Fierce singer is nominated for her song “Be Alive”. The song is up against
Sebastián Yatra’s “Dos Oruguitas” (Encanto), Van Morrison’s “Down to Joy” (Belfast) Billie Eilish’s – “No Time to Die” (No Time to Die) and Reba McEntire’s – “Somehow You Do” (Four Good Days) for Best Original Song for a Motion Picture.

Be Alive” is from the film King Richard, which stars Will Smith. The movie is based on Venus and Serena Williams journey to tennis stardom.

The 94th Academy Awards will be broadcast on ABC on Sunday, March 27.
