French Montana’s Addiction Service

The rapper, who has struggled with addiction issues, gave details about his partnership with Guardian Recovery Service and NAQI healthcare. He stated they aim to provide a safe and supervised home detox program for individuals looking to get sober.

He says the program overlooks the detox process since doing so on your own can sometimes lead to dangerous situations. “You can’t shake it off yourself because it’s dangerous. I’m very excited and very happy that we can cure people, especially in the comfort of their homes. A lot of people are private.” He said, “When you go through your problems, you want to stay private and be taken care of wherever you’re comfortable. We want to help people stay alive as much as we can, wherever they’re comfortable.”

In 2019, the renowned rapper was hospitalized for exhaustion and substance abuse. Since his hospitalization, he says he has been sober for over a year. “It was just overdoing something for too long,” he said of the experience. “And, to the point where now sober is becoming my new high. People were saying I was out of control. Not me, you know what I’m saying?”

He claims that achieving sobriety is one of the star’s most significant accomplishments. The star made history by being the first African-born musician to go diamond. In his statement, he said, “I stepped back, took two steps back, didn’t drop no music, detox from social media,” French said. “And I think that was like the hardest thing I ever did in my life, to snatch myself back. So, for me to stop everything and step back was like one of my biggest accomplishments.”
