(GEMS RADIO)- With enough awards to fill a mansion’s trophy cabinet, Jay-Z is among the most successful rappers. He has won more Grammys than any other rapper besides Ye, who they have tied. In a picture, Jay-Z displayed his remarkable collection. His accolades include 24 Grammy Awards.

DJ Khaled posted a picture of Jay-Z surrounded by his Grammy collection on Instagram. Several service platters are placed alongside Jay-Z as he sits on a sofa in the image. The images captioned by Khaled read, “Hov Did!”

Jay-Z Boycotts the Grammys

The individual with the most Grammy nominations is Jay-Z, who has 83. With 79, his wife Beyoncé is in the fourth position. Blue Ivy, their daughter, is likewise proud of her triumph. She received hers for the “Brown Skin Girl” song in Beyoncé’s “Lion King: The Gift.” She won a Grammy at age nine, making her the second-youngest performer to do so.

Jay-Z disclosed his Grammy Awards boycott, which started in 1999 due to a DMX rejection. “I originally abstained from the Grammy Awards in support of [DMX]. He wasn’t nominated the year we both came out. They didn’t even consider him after he released two albums and had two No. 1 albums within a single year.

I won the Grammy that year for Best Rap Album, so I missed my first award ceremony. I even skipped the event altogether out of support for him. There was some rivalry, but there was also a lot of love, according to Hov.

Jay-Z’s Returns To The Grammys

He didn’t come back for many years, and when he did, it was only after his wife released a solo project.

Jay-Z added, “I didn’t return until 2004 when a lovely lady I love sincerely made a solo record. And I realized that art is so subjective, and everybody’s trying their best. And the Academy, they’re human like we are, voting on stuff they enjoy, and it’s subjective.”
