(GEMS RADIO)– On Tuesday, a photo of Atlanta rapper Lil Gotit went viral, showing a comparison between a past photo of the artist who is considerably thinner than the current showing him a few extra pounds.

The rapper was subject to ridicule on social media with comments like “He ain’t Lil no more” and “My boy went from a size 28 to 42 in jeans.”

Lil Gotit addressed the ridicule on Insta stories, saying, “Can’t be a kid forever lol.. Grown man weight done got on me.”

Lil Gotit is Not the Only One Who Gained Weight

The inactivity resulting from the pandemic and the stay-at-home recommendations have resulted in much weight gain among artists. Many of them are using this moment to get back in shape.

While many bulk up, Busta Rhymes used the opportunity to make an incredible transformation to his body. At the height of the pandemic, in October 2020, the legendary Hip Hop artist shared a post revealing unbelievable weight loss.

In one photo, Busta is seen in a sizable bell, and in the second, he flaunts a six-pack.

“DON’T EVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF!!” Busta wrote in all caps. “LIFE BEGINS RIGHT NOW!!! MY DEDICATION IS DIFFERENT!! I WOULD NEVER PUT OUT AN ALBUM AND NOT BE IN THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!! I RESPECT MYSELF TOO MUCH, AND I RESPECT Y’ALL TOO MUCH!!! I’M ONLY HERE TO INSPIRE!!”

Action Bronson Weight Loss Journey

Two months after Bus-A-Bus’s inspirational transformation, Action Bronson, who once weighed 400 pounds, revealed the fruits of his yearlong weight loss journey. The rapper showed a slim physique on Men’s Health, asserting that he had dropped 125 pounds in a year.

“This journey started way long ago,” said Bronson. “I was born heavy. I was a heavy child. This transformation was long overdue. There was a lot of shit like pre-diabetes, eczema, asthma, all kinds of f**king dumb stuff that I had given myself.”
