The Diplomats, Usher, and 50 Cent are among the many great hip-hop artists who will make an appearance at the Lover & Friends Festival slated to take place in Las Vegas on May 6, 2023. Other artists who will also perform include Pitbull, Remy Ma, Chingy, Busta Rhymes, T.I., Soulja Boy, Summer Walker, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, and a host of other artists.

Many fans highly anticipated the 2020 Lover & Friends Festival, but the coronavirus outbreak made it impossible, and the event had to be put on hold. Bobby Dee, Live Nation, and Snoop Dogg announced the revival of this nostalgia-packed event. It comes with a new lineup different from last year’s, which included TLC, Ne-Yo, Lil Jon, Cam’ron, Ciara, Juvenile, Trey Songz, Nelly, Fabolous, T-Pain, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Lil’ Kim, Ludacris, Lauryn Hill, and more.

Tickets are coming

If you’re looking forward to this event, the good news is that pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Friday, January 20 at 10 a.m. P.T.The starting price for the tickets is $250, with payment plans ranging from $19 and above.

The announcement came at a good time for Usher, who had a stellar performance in 2022. A good example is his memorable Tiny Desk and Las Vegas residency performances.

“I was blown away; I was shocked,” Usher said. “I think I was in Los Angeles somewhere, and they were like, “Yo, you know you’re going viral?” I’m like, “It’s good, right?”

“Then I looked on, and I saw a few people do it.” Then I saw more people doing what I had done, and it just kept going and going, and I was like, “Wow, this is amazing.” “This is something special.”

Usher lost his grandmother

The new year never started well for Usher after his grandmother, Tina Carter, passed on. In his moving tribute, Usher hailed his grandmother as “a source of light” for anyone she interacted with.
