(GEMS RADIO)- The most recent defendant in the YSL RICO case to accept a plea deal is Young Thug’s brother. Unfoonk refuted the accusation that he told on his brother before receiving the plea deal. Unfoonk agreed to avoid getting in touch with Young Thug and other defendants.

Unfoonk’s Plead Deal and Terms of Probation

According to WSBTV Atlanta, Quantavious Grier, also known as Unfoonk, entered a guilty plea to one charge of breaking the RICO Act and one count of obtaining stolen goods while committing robbery. Two of the twelve years of his 12-year sentence were remitted. Additionally, Unfoonk will have a ten-year probationary period.

He consented to some requirements as terms of his probation. He agreed to cut communication with his brother Young Thug and the other defendants until the case was over. He also has to do 750 hours of community service. Unfoonk must not possess a gun and is subject to a curfew of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The agreement states that Unfoonk must appear in court if any party requests that he do so. He can, nevertheless, exercise his Fifth Amendment privilege from self-incrimination.

Unfoonk Denies Telling On His Brother

In the YSL gang trial, Young Thug’s brother is the fifth suspect to agree to a plea deal. Unfoonk was already charged with spying on his brother. Others like Gunna and YSL co-founder Walter Murphy were charged with the same.

He refuted the accusation on Instagram on Tuesday. Before responding, he added two sobbings and laughing emojis to the letter. People genuinely think I spied on my brother, damn them.

Prove to me in my documentation where I directed you to tell on someone, he added. “Peace and blessings.”

Other Defendants Who Took a Plea Deal

On Tuesday, Young Thug made another court appearance. The trial against him and the other 22 accused will start in January.

Last Monday, Gunna signed an Alford Plea and was freed. He retained his innocence throughout the case. He acknowledged the prosecutor had substantial proof to obtain a verdict. Along with Walter Murphy and Martinez Arnold, Winnie Lee Shawty also arranged plea agreements.
