(GEM RADIO)- Akon has revealed that he has collaborated with everyone, not Jay Z., in his 15 years in music; he’s collaborated with Jeezy, Eminem, Michael Jackson, and Gwen Stefani. The revelation that the singer has never collaborated with Jay-Z stunned many fans. Akon recently admitted to all these during an interview with podcaster Bootleg Kev.

The Reason why

Akon said, “Jay and I never collaborated, which is absurd.” How I worked with every artist except Jay-Z,” I think. I still have no idea why. Kev asked if a collaboration between the two artists had ever materialized. “Smack that,” the star responded, “Not even a question was asked. The truth is, I believe it was due to how our careers overlapped at the time. He acted executively when I was at the pinnacle of my musical abilities.

In 2004, the same year Akon dropped his first single, “Locked Up,” Jay-Z was named president of Def Jam. This was after he stopped releasing full-length albums. He then started concentrating on promoting his up-and-coming singers, T-Pain and Lady Gaga. The creator of Konvict Music appeared to follow a similar path in 2008.

Akon’s Hair Transplant Procedure

This news followed another revelation. The Senegalese star revealed that he recently underwent hair transplants in Turkey. Akon made these remarks. He explained the uncomfortable operation to Kev. He stated, “In the beginning, my whole front was loose. It was really thin. When they have to numb you in the beginning, that is the painful part. That numbing is serious business. They continuously prick people with a needle this size.
