Pusha T declared that Kendrick Lamar and himself are the best rappers in the industry. He said this in an interview with HotNewHipHop. Pusha considers Kendrick’s latest album worthy competition.

Kendrick Lamar’s album the Big Steppers and Mr. Morale and Pusha T’s album It’s Almost Dry are the two albums with the most positive remarks from critics in 2022. The two albums have won the two rappers a place in the rapping game. They have enabled them to be among the best rappers and possibly the best this year. The two albums were actually released weeks apart.

Kendrick Lamar has a Great Album

“I think he made a strong album. I think his album is definitely a conversation piece, for sure. I think that Kendrick does what he does lyrically,” Push said. “I think it was impressive, for sure. I think it’s great competition. It’s a matter of what you want to hear. I feel like for what it is that I do and what I was going for, and like I said, this is rap album of the year to me. It’s Almost Dry. That is the mood and that is the energy. I think I put out that type of energy.”

Pusha T added that he and Kendrick are great rappers on a basic level. He said that they usually rap about the truth and produce quality music. They also provide great taste and thoughtful lyrics. He also added that fans like both albums and can listen to any album depending on their mood. In the interview, he did not point out which album was better than the other, though the whole year, Pusha has been claiming his album is the best album of the year.
